Lenovo Unveils Next-Gen Gaming Powerhouse: Legion Go 2

Lenovo has taken the stage at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (#CES2025) in Las Vegas to unveil its latest innovation in handheld gaming—the Legion Go 2. Building on the success of its predecessor, the new device promises to redefine portable gaming with a host of upgrades and user-friendly features.

The original Legion Go made waves when it launched last year, praised for its seamless performance and portability. With the Legion Go 2, Lenovo aims to raise the bar even higher. This next-gen handheld comes packed with significant improvements, including a faster processor, a sharper display, and a more ergonomic design that’s perfect for long gaming sessions.

The Legion Go 2’s standout feature is its stunning 7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, offering a refresh rate of 144Hz. Gamers can expect vibrant colors, crystal-clear resolution, and buttery-smooth visuals—perfect for both blockbuster AAA games and indie gems.

Under the hood, Lenovo has equipped the device with the latest AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor. It’s paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a massive 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, ensuring the kind of speed and performance serious gamers demand.

Battery life has also seen a significant boost. The Legion Go 2 now delivers up to 10 hours of gaming on a single charge, powered by an 80Wh battery. And thanks to fast-charging technology, you can get back in the game quickly, with 50% charge achieved in just 30 minutes.

Lenovo has listened to user feedback, introducing detachable and customizable controllers. These modular designs offer gamers the flexibility to configure controls to their liking, enhancing the overall experience.

The software has been revamped as well. Lenovo’s Legion Space platform now makes it easier than ever to manage games, optimize performance, and access multiple gaming libraries, including Steam, Xbox Game Pass, and the Epic Games Store.
