ZTE has launched the Voyage 3D mobile phone, which the company says is the world's first 3D mobile phone equipped with artificial intelligence. This was followed by the first and second generation Nubia Pad 3D tablets.
The Chinese company still believes in 3D technology and unveiled its latest glasses-free 3D device at the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai.
ZTE Voyage 3D is an Android smartphone with mid-range hardware specifications and a 3D display that converts 2D content into 3D in real-time.
The main selling point of Voyage 3D is its Neovision 3D Anytime display technology, which is based on stereoscopic eye-tracking technology with a 60-degree viewing angle.
The phone displays images with simulated depth to create a 3D effect. ZTE is collaborating with Chinese video platform Migu Video to offer 3D content.
Voyage 3D features a 6.58-inch 3D IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The screen supports 3D grid rendering technology, AI head tracking, and uses AI to convert 2D content to 3D in real-time at the system level.
The device has an AI eye tracking function, a 60-degree wide viewing angle, and can precisely track the user's eyeballs.
In addition, the company has equipped the phone with dedicated physical buttons that open certain applications with a single click and have a dedicated 3D display area.
It includes real-time intelligent translation, personal chat, voice translation, and an intelligent AI-powered voice assistant, and offers a range of features such as literacy tests, creative writing, and food reviews.
The phone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T760 chipset paired with a Mali-G52 GPU.
The chipset comes with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The device is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery and supports 33W charging.
The phone uses the MyOS13 user interface based on the Android 13 operating system and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
ZTE gave the phone two rear cameras, the first with a 50-megapixel resolution and the second with a 5-megapixel resolution, in addition to a 5-megapixel front camera.
The phone's dimensions are 163.5 mm x 75 mm x 8.5 mm, it weighs 190 grams, and its price is $205.
