Samsung has officially launched the new Galaxy Book 4 Edge laptop, the company's first laptop in the Copilot Plus category with advanced AI features.
The device runs on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor. With an advanced neural processing unit in order to implement artificial intelligence tasks in devices without relying on an Internet connection.
The basic version of the new Samsung computer is equipped with a 14-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, a frequency of up to 120 Hz, support for touch, and a brightness of up to 500 lumens. This version also has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and weighs only about 1.17kg.
Samsung offers a larger version (Edge Pro) with a 16-inch screen, a storage capacity of up to 1 TB, and it weighs about 1.5 kg. All versions support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
These devices are equipped with Samsung Knox security features and many applications integrated with other Galaxy products in terms of connectivity, control, file transfer, etc. In addition, exclusive AI features will be integrated into Windows 11 as these devices fall under Microsoft's recently announced “Copilot Plus” category.
Samsung offers the Galaxy Book 4 Edge with a 14-inch screen at a price starting at $1,350, while the price of the larger version with a 16-inch screen starts at $1,450.
To encourage purchases, Samsung is offering a free 50-inch smart TV for a limited time when you pre-order the device, which costs $379 for the TV alone.
