Microsoft announces new Surface Pro computers with advanced processors

Microsoft launched a new generation of Surface Pro hybrid computers, the eleventh edition of the series. The device features a number of improvements, including an additional OLED screen, a 1440 pixel camera, support for connecting to Wi-Fi 7 networks, as well as additional connectivity to 5G networks.

For the first time, Microsoft is offering an OLED screen called PixelSense Flow for the device, measuring 13 inches, with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels, and protected by Gorilla Protection Glass. 5.

Microsoft also offers another version with a standard IPS LCD screen. For the version with the old screen, you will have to pay at least $ 1,500, while the price of the basic version with an LCD screen starts at $ 1,000.

The new Surface Pro devices come with two processor options and users can choose a Snapdragon-powered device.

According to Microsoft, these processors make the device 90% faster than previous versions, and they also have variable storage capacities of up to 1 TB.

The new Surface Pro devices support connectivity to Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 networks, and Microsoft will offer another version that supports 5G networks later in 2024.

The device features a new keyboard called “Flex Keyboard” that works wirelessly, meaning it can be separated from the screen and turn the computer into a tablet if desired. The keyboard features an additional layer of carbon fiber for improved stability and durability. Customizable touchpad and built-in pen storage.

The new Surface Pro is available in four colors: black, platinum, gold and blue. Users can now order the device from the official Microsoft Store and it will be available in additional markets around the world in the future.
