The screen is larger than expected, 18.5 inches! It's also very thin, with a little extra bulk in the back for stability.
It's perfect for gaming, media, work or everyday use. It handles fast movements well and I had no problems pairing it with an Xbox or PlayStation.
On the back are the back button and menu key. To quickly change entries, you can use both the back button and the menu button. By default, pressing the menu button up or down controls the brightness and I don't see any way to adjust that. I would like the ability to turn this into a volume control. Press the Menu button to display the full settings menu, where you can access various display settings (including HDR and Freesync) and adjust the volume. My Xbox can't detect the HDR feature and I get mixed results when I enable this setting instead of using Auto.
It has built-in speakers that you can use. However, for a better audio experience, I recommend using headphones or other speakers.
Given its size, I was hesitant to take it on the plane, but I think it would be perfect for road trips and moving around the house.
The package includes a USB power adapter, a USB-C to USB-C cable, and a mini HDMI to HDMI cable. That's all I needed except the bag. I think I would be more willing to travel with it if it had a protective cover.
What I like: Perfect for all my needs.
What I don't like: Travel bag is not included.
Overall, I'd recommend this monitor if you need something large and portable.
