When I bought the device in late May 2023, the 15-inch model and up were about the same price as the 13.3-inch model, but I chose the smaller model for portability reasons. This is good! It's about the size of a 13-inch Macbook screen and is big enough for the side screen I attached. The larger model features a different stand, similar to the foldable display stand for the Apple iPad. Since I'm not a fan of these things, I thought the retractable stick for the 13.3-inch screen would suit me better if it was available and worked and like a larger screen, the angle is not adjustable. However, it is very powerful and compact. The 13.3-inch model comes with a padded display case, unlike the larger model.
Very happy with the plug and play functionality of the Macbook Pro 2021 M1. No settings required on the computer or Acer monitor, all I have to do is plug it in and it works. I want it to appear in profile view, but only horizontally. The resolution is decent for running Twitch, Tweetdeck, etc. on the side screen and I'm happy with it. Incredible value. Is the edge big? Yes, but the same applies to the 15-inch model: once you see the screen, no one notices. The edge is easy to use because it is portable and it is nice to have something you can hold on to. There are no built-in speakers. Does not require external power, uses USB-C power supply. It doesn't shine or anything. Some reviews mention black screens, especially when running on battery-powered laptops. I didn't notice this at all with the MacBook Pro; Even when my laptop's battery was 100% charged (i.e. the laptop was unplugged), the Acer's screen remained bright and bright, so this Acer probably isn't macOS. the problem.
The only reason to consider the 13.3-inch model is because the pixel ratio is the same, so the resolution should be better on a smaller screen. There is no screen lag when using social media (I don't play games). This USB-C to USB-C cable is approximately 1 meter long and is ideal for connecting your monitor to both sides of your laptop (near or far side).
