I ordered this mini pc monitor and gaming keyboard to replace my broken laptop. My first order arrived quickly and was very easy to set up. Unfortunately the screen was faulty and did not work properly. When turned on, it flashes white, red, green, blue and black, eventually emitting a loud static noise before cracking and exploding. Power off/on causes similar behavior, sometimes it shows the SANSUI logo and even the desktop screen, but it always shows a black screen with static noise. The DC plug was loose in the socket and the on/off switch did not work properly. When it was released, it took a long time to get it up and running. After several hours of troubleshooting, trying to change ports, DC and HDMI cables, adjust system settings, etc. Unable to find a solution, I contacted Amazon for a return/exchange. My exchange order arrived within one day. The power cord for this monitor fits better and the power button works well and pops up in seconds. The color screen has no noise, flickering, crackling or clicking. I ordered a higher quality HDMI cable, not because the one that came with it was bad. The screen size is perfect and the graphics are clear. I've noticed that the built-in speakers aren't the best, but at least they're there! When the headphones are on, they become louder and clearer. I don't play games or create special graphics, but mostly for work, editing my website, etc.
Overall I am happy with my purchase. My only complaint is the power cord connector, which has a useless little plastic knot at the end that sticks out and covers the top or bottom of the two ports so you can't plug anything into it. It would be great if the socket had a swivel plug. I had to buy a power strip so the microphone could be plugged in. Good size and good price.
