The screen is great and the price-performance ratio is excellent. Capturing fast-paced games and sports works very well, especially when using the 100Hz refresh rate. The screen provides excellent visibility without image fading or color distortion. However, there are some things to keep in mind when using this monitor. The first is the included stand. It's big, heavy, and made of steel. The screen itself is light as a feather. Unless you're using multiple monitors or a monitor support frame, you'll need to leave room for the included stand, as it's larger than any other 27-inch monitor I've used. Second, keep in mind that this monitor has a dedicated external power supply, which may be difficult to repair or replace in the future. I prefer monitors with a standard AC power cord that connects directly to the monitor. This isn't a deal-killer, but something to consider. The screenshot controls are also located at the bottom of the screen and are a bit difficult to use and program. If you're considering a multi-monitor setup, note that the bezels are very thin, but when the screen is turned on, there's about a quarter of an inch of black space left on the screen... so we'll do this Placing the screens next to each other creates large black areas in the screen area. The problem is serious.
In the end, the value for money is excellent, and much better than I would expect from a monitor in this price range. I would definitely buy it again, but unfortunately it's not available for multi-monitor setups. Look at this picture. Thin bezels are deceiving. I really hope they offer a curved and/or 4K version of the same display at a price that's too reasonable to pass up. We are excited to see how Shanshui will develop in the future.
