Advanced WiFi 6: Advanced smart home services and best-in-class security. Small yet powerful, connects 50+ devices, 2,000 square feet, 55 million users, from Plume & AirSonics
I've left this as a somewhat ambiguous option, and it's too risky for our price. However, I'm happy to report that it is indeed valuable. We replaced our router and WiFi extender with this one (and sold them both for the same price) - and they sold better than both together. We can now access WiFi from the street and the range is great. We've moved all of our smart electronics there (which tells us that the company isn't really thinking about replacing people's WiFi routers and that we have to reset all the light bulbs, little Google devices, etc.), though it's easy to use Nest and Since then our internet has been extremely fast and our devices have had fewer "glitches" like lights never going off or going "offline". The looks of the router alone are worth it: it's simply a very expensive product. .High quality router.
We tried the free membership for a month and I spent some time testing it out before writing the review. It's hard for us to know if it's worth it. I love privacy, but most of our devices already have IP protection and robust security software. Guest code systems are great, but we don't remember guest codes and people end up entering our house codes. I can do the speed test myself. We didn't need horns, and the area covering just the main part was excellent. We couldn't find out what motion detection is, but it appears to be the ability to detect when people are home via a connected device? Since we have loops and other monitoring capabilities, this is not necessary and we know there are other people in our home or intruders in the home. For example, when it comes to ad-free, our smart TV still shows Prime ads and YouTube ads (Adblock fixes this issue!), so I'm not sure what that means specifically. This leaves me with IoT protection and network protection. In theory, that should suit us just fine. I like the idea that AI will enable adaptive defence. But Bloom seems unable to explain exactly what these functions do or provide practical examples. Again, none of them work in private mode... which apparently prevents Plume from accessing your data (which solves the problem they caused, just like McKinsey does). Generally, we will cancel our subscription services before the end of the free trial so they can better explain and tailor the features to subscribers because they simply aren't valuable enough to us.
