AMD has appointed Thomas Zacharias as senior vice president of strategic technology partnerships and public policy.
Zakaria will lead AMD's global expansion of public and private relations with governments, NGOs and private organizations to accelerate the adoption of AI solutions designed based on AMD technology to address fast-growing global projects and applications.
Zacharias holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Karnataka, India, a master's degree in materials science from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, and a doctorate in engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.
