Adobe is making it easier for users to create and publish social content on mobile devices, announcing plans to launch a modernized version of Adobe Express, the company's cloud-based mobile design platform app.
With this update, the company is integrating Firefly's AI models directly into the app, allowing users to quickly create and edit social content using general AI tools.
The modern version of the application allows Adobe to compete with Canva, which launched a set of artificial intelligence tools last year.
A new text-to-image generator is available for Adobe Express users to quickly create a new project look using the Firefly platform's generative AI to quickly create images.
A new feature called Create Fill lets you easily insert, delete, or replace people or objects using text prompts.
A new feature called Text Effects helps users quickly display messages using different text styles.
Adobe notes that small businesses can use this feature, for example, to remove unwanted objects and images to enhance their advertising content, while creative professionals can use it to speed up mobile content creation for social marketing teams.
Creative Cloud members can use the app to access and work with Photoshop and Illustrator creative assets directly from Adobe Express.
You can also add linked files that sync with Adobe Express when editing in Creative Cloud apps.
Adobe Express lets you preview content and post content to social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
It also allows you to upload and publish brand assets and use specific colors and logos to speed up the design process.
The app provides access to thousands of videos and multi-page templates, as well as Adobe Stock videos, music, and photos.
Android users can download the new beta version of the Adobe Express app from the Google Play Store.
Since Apple limits the number of beta users for an app, iOS users must register to access beta apps.
This new announcement comes just weeks after Adobe and TikTok announced that TikTok's AI-powered creative assistant is now available directly in Adobe Express.
The companies said the integration will help companies and creators create and market content efficiently.
