I bought one for my little grandson so he can use a simple app for drawing etc. No non-educational games, live streaming or other distractions, just a digital coloring book to keep them company as they grow.
It is perfect for this purpose. For older tasks, it's not very fast, but that's not what I want. Speed and strength are an advantage to achieve the desired goal.
Unfortunately, after setting this up for the kids (who were too young to use it), I had so much fun that I forgot the PIN, and even more stupidly, I didn't save it anywhere. So I have to reset and reboot the tablet. Unfortunately, there appears to be no way to return this item to factory condition. I'm a retired IT worker, so I don't know how to do this, but I haven't found a way to do it.
I contacted the company in China not expecting a response or help, but they actually responded very quickly. They tried everything to find a way to reset it but to no avail. But they sent me a new tablet under warranty. It was my stupid mistake because I didn't write down my PIN. They took responsibility for not resetting the device.
