I bought this laptop because I needed a computer to work on, and special software to run my computer game library. I recommend this laptop for high school/college students or office workers.
Overall rating of the laptop:
This laptop is made of solid metal and feels good in the hand without being too heavy. The keyboard is touch-friendly and comfortable to type on, and the additional number pad is useful for productivity. The trackpad is responsive and supports multi-touch gestures. The screen is matte to reduce glare. If necessary, a webcam can also be used, but this is not surprising. The battery life is great for productivity as it lasts a few hours, but once you start gaming it drains quickly. It has USB-A and USB-C ports, an HDMI output, and a micro SD card slot.
Production and entertainment:
Microsoft Office works very well, as you'd expect from a computer with a powerful processor and 16GB of RAM. Streaming videos to YouTube worked well too, with easy and smooth 4K streaming (see video). The screen is very bright and the speakers are good but not very loud. I recommend headphones or external speakers.
Gaming performance:
I realized I bought this laptop to play PC games. First, GTA V runs at 1080p and over 30fps on low graphics settings. Watch the video to learn more about the standards. Minecraft runs well even at low settings at 1080p and 55fps. Also watch the video to learn more about the standards.
I also tried out Rocket League and it worked very well, averaging 40fps on high settings. Battlefield 4 also performed well at medium to high settings, averaging over 40 frames per second. Hitman and The Batman Trilogy are both great. Overall, this is a great PC for light gaming and I'm sure Overwatch, League of Legends, and CS:GO will run well on this PC. Don't expect this laptop to be able to run Cyberpunk 2077 at maximum settings or otherwise.
Overall, this laptop is very good and worth considering if you are looking for a good computer for work or gaming!
