Google has relaunched its artificial intelligence assistant and called it “Gemini” instead of its previous name, “Bard.”
Google launched its “BARD” AI assistant based on the LaMDA model about a year ago. It was replaced by the Gemini model at the end of last year and was renamed the "cold" assistants of the model bearing the same name as Gemini.
Gemini AI Assistant currently runs on Gemini Pro 1.0 and is available in over 230 countries in over 40 languages.
Gemini Assistant can be accessed through its own website, in addition to the Gemini application, which is currently available on Google Play and the App Store, but it is not currently available in all countries of the world.
Google Assistant is free to use, and Google also offers a paid monthly subscription called Gemini Advanced, based on the Gemini Ultra 1.0 advanced AI model.
Google offers a $20 per month subscription called Google One AI Premium, which includes an additional 2TB of storage space and the ability to enable AI features in email, Google Docs, and other apps, similar to a Google Assistant subscription to enable it. This is an advantage compared to subscribing to ChatGPT or Copilot.
Gemini on Android replaces Google Assistant and can be activated in the same way, and in addition to traditional voice commands, it can also ask for tasks such as summarizing articles or creating comments on photos and answering various questions.
