Apple launches free app to track race results

Apple has launched a new sports application that allows iPhone users to follow the results of many sports tournaments around the world.

The company calls the app Apple Sports and iPhone users in the US, UK and Canada can download it for free from the App Store.

Apple is expected to gradually launch its new application in other regions of the world during the coming period.

Eddie Cue, the company's head of services, said Apple designed the app so that results could be checked quickly and easily multiple times a day, adding that this would set it apart from other sports results apps. Since the company does not represent a specific team or league and users have no incentive to use the in-app sessions for a long period of time.

Q added that the app's main goal is to notify users of results in real-time and make results easier to access, with Apple allowing the dashboard to be added to the home screen or lock screen.

The new Apple Sports app provides access to match scores and relevant statistics from international soccer leagues such as the English, Spanish, Italian and French leagues, as well as the NFL, NBA and other leagues. The company also promises to add more content to the game later.

The Apple Sports app provides the ability to customize the user experience by selecting favorite leagues, tournaments and teams, which are displayed on a clear dashboard. Users can navigate through results, upcoming matches, and learn more about team statistics and lineup details. The app also displays links to sporting events in the Apple News app or the streaming app on Apple TV, as well as other connected streaming services.
