Apple is officially launching Vision Pro glasses in the US

Apple has officially begun rolling out its Vision Pro mixed reality headset in the US.

In addition to the online store, the glasses are now available in Apple stores in the United States.

As part of the initial pre-order phase that began two weeks ago, Apple customers received the glasses they wanted for the first time and were able to pick them up at Apple Stores.

The company's CEO, Tim Cook, appeared at the flagship store on Fifth Street in New York to celebrate the launch of the glasses.

Apple offers Vision Pro glasses at a starting price of $3,500, and Cook said in a press statement that he believes the glasses are priced correctly considering their value, noting that the glasses have 5,000 patents that cover the possibility of customers using the installment payment system.

Cook added that many companies have begun investing in eyewear, including Walmart, Nike, Pioneer, Bloomberg and others, and using it as a platform for customers and employees.

Cook noted that the glasses contain more than 600 different applications, including 250 games, allowing users to experience “spatial computing.”

Apple plans to ship about 500,000 glasses this year, and it was not initially expected that these glasses would generate significant revenues for the company.

Previous estimates indicated that Apple may sell more than 200,000 glasses in the first pre-order period, and rumors indicate that Apple is working on a different, cheaper version to attract a large number of customers.
