Xpeng Motors has officially launched its first MPV model, the X9, targeting the family car market that features large space, high safety and intelligent driving.
The electric automaker has officially launched the X9, which comes in four versions and is priced from about $50,680 to about $59,130.
Deliveries of the X9 will begin later this month, with intelligent driving features available for delivery.

Compared with the X9 Pro model, the X9 Max model has two LiDARs and can use the XNGP driving assistance function.
XNGP Assistant can handle a variety of driving scenarios, from starting the car to parking the car at the destination, with or without HD map coverage.
The X9 Pro model does not have LiDAR hardware and is limited to NGP Highway functionality, as well as other features such as parking assist.
Xpeng Motors said the X9 is the first large seven-seater car to transcend the boundaries of multi-purpose vehicles.
The vehicle is based on the SEPA 2.0 intelligent electric platform architecture and has many important functions such as 800V fast charging platform and flexible expandability.
The X9 is equipped as standard with a fast-charging battery that allows a range of up to 300 kilometers after 10 minutes of charging.
The version equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
The X9 is equipped with active rear-wheel steering and air suspension as standard, with a turning radius of 10.8 metres, giving the X9 the same ride comfort as a small car and improving handling.
Large interior space is a key feature of the X9 With a trunk space of 2,554 litres, the third row seats can be folded, allowing plenty of space.
The Xpeng's second-row seats have independent armrests and charging ports, all front seats have fold-down tables, and third-row passengers benefit from dual cup holders and independent climate zones.
The X9 represents an important milestone for the company as it is the seventh model and first in the new X series. Xpeng Motors' previous products were P-series sedans and G-series SUVs.
