Messaging platform WhatsApp has introduced a new tool in its app that allows users to create stickers from their photos and share them in chats.
Users can create their own stickers by going to the sticker panel in the chat, tapping on the 'Plus+' icon, selecting the image saved on the device and editing it using some of the options available in the tool.
WhatsApp allows you to select the items or people you want on the sticker while removing the background, just like third-party apps allow you to create stickers. You can also add expressive text and designs.
Once you create a sticker, you can send it in a chat or save it to the user's other sticker libraries so you can send it repeatedly later without having to make the same edit again.
Any stickers you've previously created can also be edited by opening the stickers panel, long-pressing the sticker you want to edit and selecting Edit Sticker.
Stickers are specially designed images or animations that resemble emojis, but are larger and contain more detail. Various images can be converted into stickers, and users can create their own stickers or download pre-made stickers from sources. Or keep stickers sent by other users.
