Telegram is redesigning the communication interface

Messaging platform Telegram has released a new update that redesigns the user interface and allows users to make voice and video calls through the app.

The platform announced on its official website that it has completely redesigned the call interface, adding new animated effects and unique backgrounds that change dynamically depending on the call status.

Another reason for redesigning the calling interface platform is to make it use less hardware resources than it already does, to extend battery life and improve application performance on older devices.

Telegram reports that it has fixed "hundreds of technical issues" with its connectivity and interface, as well as improved voice quality, and promises more improvements in 2024.

Telegram has updated the platform's "bot" system, allowing it to interact with messages, manage interactions, offers, links, send replies, etc. According to Telegram, this is the biggest update to the bot platform since its launch.

Another change that the update brings is the so-called “Thanos effect”, an animated splash effect that shows messages disappearing after being deleted. The platform previously made the feature available in apps on iPhone and iPad before announcing that it would also be available on Android devices with a new update.

Telegram says the update also includes a number of other features, but will be announced later this month.

Users can now download the new update No. 10.5.0 on the Google Play Store or App Store.
