Comfort: I would give it an 8 out of 10. Using the original strap is good, but using a higher quality strap is even better. These watches come with a 22mm strap, which is a popular size. Build Quality: This thing is very light, for a watch this size the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 feels heavy, the same goes for the Gear 3 Frontier as they were flagship watches of their time, but you can still get one. Today they will probably mark up the price of older devices by $20 and newer devices by over $200, and they will have more features.
Continue to pay attention to the build quality, the strap is poor quality, replace it immediately or buy one when you buy the watch, the notch on the clasp is sealed and not shaped so it looks uneven up close, so that's not the problem from afar. . The back of the watch is made of plastic and the case is made of metal. I wonder about the durability of the case and glass. I hope someone makes a case for this watch soon. I don't trust glass.
Screen: The OLED screen is beautiful, and despite the huge bezels around the edges, it is clear every time you shine a light on the watch. Other than that, the colors are clear and bright, and the screen is easy to use. read a book.
Performance: The watch runs fast, but has difficulty handling its own apps and is sometimes slow when scrolling through apps or searching between apps on the home screen. This doesn't bother me, but it might bother others. The heart rate sensor and O2 sensor work well, are accurate and reasonably fast.
Hardware: This thing seems to support BT 5.3. The battery has a capacity of 340 mAh and an average battery life of 13 days. There is not much information about this watch on the CMF website. But on other websites you can find more information about this watch but the only thing I found so far is that it has a 410 x 502 display, GPS and accelerometer.
It lacks NFC, cellular data, and other features you'd find in a flagship watch, so features like Google Pay or Apple Pay (you probably won't have Apple Pay since they're proprietary) are nonexistent. You can have your phone make calls but the microphone is somewhere but it requires your phone to do so. There is also no light sensor behind the screen, which prevents the screen from adapting to lighting conditions.
Software and OS: I doubt the security of the watch as it has its own custom operating system unlike Google Wear or iOS as this brings another problem as it relies on its own source for watch faces and apps so they can be restricted. Even the app on the phone has trouble keeping up with the notifications you want to track. When you want to track an email, he checks the box, leaves the screen, and then returns without checking it. So the application is incomplete and poses its problem. It can also run in the background while idle with the correct permissions and app permissions. This is definitely a new watch and there will be new versions.
I'm more concerned about the operating system of the watch, which device is connected to the phone, what security measures (if any) will be activated and what guarantees I have that the data won't fall into bad hands. It is, after all, a Bluetooth device and I don't see any major security concerns from CMF, the watch itself, or the app. Therefore, this may not be recommended if you handle sensitive data or share it with children.
