Linktree announced new features including link scheduling, archiving, and the ability to automatically pull the latest videos from YouTube and TikTok.
The platform was established in 2016. It provides a page that contains referral links to various accounts on social media platforms and serves as a landing page for the individual or company that contains all social links.
The idea for the system was inspired by developers' frustration with social media platforms that did not allow multiple hyperlinks.
Linktree now allows users to schedule links to be published on pages at specific dates and times, and you can choose from multiple time zones to tailor the publishing process to your target region.
You can also specify when scheduled links should be disabled, so you don't have to manually disable irrelevant links.
The Australia-based startup also offers an archive link feature, which you may not want to display on your page. This action allows you to keep statistics about the link without having to delete it.
Linktree allows you to highlight content from different social media accounts. Business users can now automatically pull updated videos from Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch.
The company previously introduced a feature that automatically pulls posts from social networks like XThreads.
The company added the ability to highlight links through the Priority feature, where you can choose to automatically expand or move a link when someone visits a page in Linktree.
Link archives are available to all users, link scheduling and link priority are available to Starter plan users, and access to recent videos is limited to Pro plan users.
The platform, which has more than 45 million users, has appointed Martin Gould and Jonny Hunter to lead its AI work, and last year acquired two startups related to its field, Koji and Bento.
