Google Photos offers a similar photo collage feature

Photo management service Google Photos has introduced a new feature that allows similar photos to be grouped and displayed in packages for easier organization and access.

When you open the app, you will see a pop-up explaining how the similar photo collage feature works. This feature searches for similar photos and videos and puts them in one place. You can view and activate it directly in this window: it is actively available.

This feature helps organize photos and videos in your photo library, which displays items in chronological order and is difficult for most users to organize in a practical way.

It should be noted that this feature only helps in organizing the display of photos and does not edit or delete photos from the gallery.

When Group Similar Photos is enabled, photos appear in packages of different sizes, each containing a prominent photo, a unique icon, and a number indicating the number of photos and videos in the package.

Share photos by long pressing on the package and choosing “Share”. With the option to share all or the most important images in the package.

Google automatically creates photo packages that collect photos and videos taken over a short period of time and automatically tags selected photos.

Google offers various editing options in the package, including ungrouping images, rearranging images within them, changing featured images, deleting images, etc., Google explains in its documentation. Support this feature on its official website.

You can access this feature on Android and iOS by going to Settings, tapping on Settings and enabling or disabling the Similar Photo Collection feature.
