An entry-level tablet for young children. I ordered this tablet for use on children ages 3 to 9 years. The tablet comes with a padded protective case and charger. I was able to install it quickly and easily. It has multiple parental control modes and you can set it to turn on at specific times. If you want your kids to only play at certain times of the day, this option is also available. In the Parental Controls center, I was able to manage the content and set it to safe or very safe mode. I was also able to create separate profiles for different kids.
It consists of two different parts. The “Child-Safe” area is of course highly restricted, while the Full Access area can only be accessed with a password. At KIDOZ you can watch kid-friendly videos, play online games and take photos. Some games are free, but others require gold coins. I love the voice search option! If your child can't write or read yet, you can simply ask him questions about videos or games that interest him. I find it very useful for young learners. I found some nice educational games, cognitive games, and videos, although it's not a large library.
Outside of KIDOZ, you as a parent can access the Internet, send emails, watch YouTube/Hulu, etc. Or take a video/photo and download the game. This tablet can connect to your Google account if desired.
The build quality is surprisingly good. This doesn't look like a cheap kids' tablet. Screen, video and audio clarity is excellent.
