The stability of the screen is very stable after setting it up. You put it where you want it and it stays there. This is a problem for me, especially since the cables come under the back of the monitor and connect to the cable guide on the back of the stand. When setting the position, there were no problems with the cables coming out of the bars.
Image quality is excellent and surprisingly, unlike other reviews I've seen, there is no black bleed from the backlight. This may be because there are different versions of this monitor, but I'm not sure why I opened this review with my specific version.
In the menu you can adjust many different picture settings. Like most monitors, this one also comes without a remote control. I tweaked the settings a bit and accidentally gave myself too many shadow effects, but after adjusting a few they went away. The problem is not with the screen, but rather a user error. When I was playing MW3 I was very concerned because sometimes there would be a bunch of white pixels along the road that would appear for a few milliseconds and then disappear for 45 minutes. It's just time to be noticed and noticed. This issue was resolved by updating the GPU driver on my system. I updated the drivers a week ago, and since I was also done with the desktop at that time, I don't think this is the problem. I haven't had this issue since updating the driver.
The screen is surprisingly thin, but you'll need to make sure there's enough room for the screen and keyboard as the stand extends about 3 inches behind the back of the screen.
The base of the legs is where the left/right rotation starts, so it's a bit weird, but it could be an option.
But of course the speakers don't sound good at all. Honestly, I think that by 2023, speakers built into displays will be more of a formality than just something you use every day. It's not completely terrible, but it's not a "good" starting point either. I would definitely add a speaker system to your setup. I've been using Logitech Z313 speakers for several years and they sound great even without headphones. I don't really understand why this is an issue for monitor manufacturers considering my speakers do a great job because I only paid $30 for them.
However, in today's market, I no longer expect a monitor or even a real TV to have a speaker system that is even close to good quality. So it's more about our position in the overall market than the product. Specific complaint. Acer isn't the only company offering cheap, substandard, or even worse speakers, so I won't include that in my reviews.
