Microsoft launches Copilot app for Android devices

Microsoft has launched the Copilot AI assistant app for Android devices, which is now available for free download from the Google Play Store.

The new Microsoft application offers the same artificial intelligence features as the Bing Chat application, in addition to the Copilot assistant in the Edge browser, the SwiftKey virtual keyboard, the Skype application and other company products.

The application performs many simple and complex tasks based on AI models and online searches using the Bing engine, including creating images using the DALL-E 3 model, creating drafts of documents or emails, translating texts, answering questions, having conversations, etc.

Copilot is free on Android devices because it supports text, voice and image input and allows users to enable the latest GPT-4 models to perform complex tasks, but it can be slow at times due to the lack of control. User language and region. The interface also supports day and night modes, with the ability to switch between them automatically according to system settings.

In the main interface of the app, Microsoft displays some suggestions for commands that Copilot Assistant can execute and also allows users to rate the results positively or negatively.

The company lets you use the app without signing in with a Microsoft account, but there are several limitations. So, it is better to sign in with a Microsoft account or create a new one to use the app and all the features available in it.

Microsoft wants to integrate Copilot Assistant into all of its products and reach as many user groups as possible, as user interaction increases the effectiveness of AI models.
