Xiaomi introduces HyperOS for the Redmi Note 12

The Chinese company Xiaomi is planning to introduce a new HyperOS system for its mid-range phone, Redmi Note 12.

Xiaomi has begun rolling out the first beta version of the HyperOS system across its various servers for all versions of the Redmi Note 12 phone, including the global version, the Indian and European versions, whether standard or not supporting NFC functions.

Users who are currently using the beta version of the operating system on their Redmi Note 12 phones can update their devices to the HyperOS beta.

The system is expected to be rolled out to all Redmi Note 12 phones after a testing period, and global deployment of the system is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2024.

Recent versions of Xiaomi phones currently run the MIUI 14 interface based on Android 13, and Xiaomi will update eligible phones to the HyperOS system instead of the MIUI 15 interface.

Users will not notice that HyperOS is radically different from Xiaomi's usual MIUI interface, it is still based on Android but offers better integration with other Xiaomi devices and can work with different versions of Xiaomi devices.

Xiaomi's new system serves as a framework for all systems running on its devices to better integrate and communicate, underscoring the company's strategic direction aimed at improving the user experience in the increasingly competitive mobile market. Wearables and smart home devices, as well as the company's desire to provide a better choice for its customers.
