I was initially looking for and ordered a cheap tablet to read comics.
Great for the price! However, this is not a strength. It is not mentioned anywhere that it is powered by a Mediatek MT8183 processor. It works well most of the time and looks like an old budget phone from 2020, but you'll really notice it when playing games on it or browsing detailed comics/manga at full resolution. When scrolling, the speed is noticeably slow and jerky. This may be partly due to the power saving it is programmed into, as it offers very good availability.
As with almost all tablets (except the iPad), the camera is completely undesirable. If you're using an old camera on a 2018 phone (assuming it's a new phone), the megapixel value doesn't mean much. Most people don't buy a photo tablet anyway, so it's only for kids to play with or when they need it. Scan barcodes, just as you would when you sign in to Firefox.
The screen resolution is only 1920 x 1200 60Hz, but it works very well with still (non-scrolling) images. The screen and octa-core processor are my favorite purchases for reading comics. A bug I recently discovered might be related to scheduled battery saving, but the battery settings menu doesn't save anything more than 15 minutes in advance and doesn't give an estimate of battery life. Autonomy or battery life (very bad).
