Review Garmin Venu 3 GRVENU3SK AMOLED Smart Watch

Garmin Venu 3 Smartwatch, Stainless Steel Case, 1.4" AMOLED Touch Screen, Black 45mm Case and Silicone Strap

From the beginning, it is very beautiful, elegant and comfortable to carry.

The initial setup is very simple and intuitive, as is the app, but the app has so much data and features that at first, if you've never had a Garmin device before, it may seem a bit overwhelming and difficult given the amount of information.  To know everything, and where things are, but it takes time, and so does the clock.  The good news is that this app has plenty of shortcuts to help you get where you want.

You can adjust the middle button according to your needs.  In my case, just press the flashlight (you can adjust the intensity) and long press the Google Assistant... I like what you can do with the watch to automate your home without talking to the Google Assistant which also needs to be activated.  You don't even have to stand next to an assistant device... Having the assistant on the watch is very convenient and I like it in that regard.

The watch interfaces well with Spotify, mobile phones and other devices when it comes to handling basic controls (volume, scroll tracking, pause and play) and offers excellent on-screen accessibility.

It contains many health indicators and information.

The heart rate monitor looks good, but I have yet to analyze a time that is more accurate than it is now.

What I don't like:

There are things I don't particularly like, like...

With Spotify I don't know why I can't download music.  A WiFi connection error is displayed.

In the swimming activity, you can navigate on only one screen as you do not have the option of using two or three screens.  Also, you can't measure your heart rate in colored areas like most sports activities... ...at least you can see your heart rate by color like other brands.

After swimming a few times each time, he told me there was still a long way to go...it's not even the cheapest watch I've ever owned.

It does not offer many physical activities, such as very basic (but can be created) freestyle activities or stretching exercises.

I think the expensive smartwatch (500€) has unforgivable flaws... but I'm sure it will improve with updates and I will get more out of it with use.

battery:

When I use the watch, it turns on by rotating my wrist and the brightness is excessive but it turns on automatically.  I train about 7 hours a week, of which I use the GPS for about 3 hours and the battery lasts about 7-8 days.  I think if I drive it less and know how to use it better, I might be able to improve the battery one day.

finally:

I have been wearing this watch for three weeks and for the first few days I was amazed by this watch, but as time went on I realized that it has drawbacks, some of which are very important and necessary because I am in the above situation.  The "I didn't like" part... but gradually over the past few days I've come to appreciate it a lot more because I saw that there were some things that could be worked on and other things like current information.  The swim activity is buggy, but with an update or app from the Garmin store I think that can be fixed.

I'm going to spend a month with him this weekend and then I'll decide what to do with him...keep him or return him...but basically everything says I want to stay with him so there's not too much going on.
