Oppo today unveiled a new tablet called the Pad Air 2, more than a year and a half after announcing the original Pad Air in May 2022 as the brand's first budget tablet.
During the launch event, Oppo did not reveal the full specifications of the Pad Air 2, despite it being an exact copy of the OnePlus tablet. Two tones.
The tablet is an upgrade from the first generation Pad Air and features an 11.4-inch LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2408 x 1720 pixels, and a pixel density of 260 ppi.
The display offers a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz and a brightness of up to 400 nits.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage.
The device runs on ColorOS 13.2 operating system based on Android 13 and is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The battery capacity is 8,000 mAh, supports the 33W SuperVOOC charging standard, and there is no microSD card slot or 3.5mm headphone jack.
Oppo has announced the Pad Air 2, a tablet aimed at a younger audience with ColorOS tablet features such as a customizable taskbar, smart file library, and multi-finger gestures.
The tablet supports Dolby Atmos sound and has four 86dB speakers. Connectivity options include dual-band wireless, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C.
The Pad Air 2 went on sale on November 25 and is currently available to order. There are three prices: the 6GB/128GB version for $180, the 8GB/128GB version for $210, and the 8GB/256GB version for $240. .
It is worth noting that the company launched this modern tablet alongside the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro, and also presented the Pad Air 2 to global markets under the name OnePlus Pad Go.
