Microsoft has announced that it will expand support for its Link to Windows program, which connects smartphones to Windows PCs, to include Realme and Oppo products in addition to OnePlus.
Microsoft launched the Link to Windows program early, but continues to support only select Samsung and Honor products.
The program offers owners of Android mobile devices several features, including synchronizing messages, calls and notifications with a computer running Windows 10 or 11.
The program also offers other important features, such as easy file transfer, access to photos, and transferring them between the computer and Android phone.
The Link to Windows app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store. Realme, Oppo and OnePlus device owners will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the app when connected to their Windows PCs after they update to OxygenOS 14 and ColorOS 14 will be released in the coming weeks and months.
The software allows you to easily connect your phone to a Windows computer by scanning the QR code displayed on the screen.
Users can receive notifications, messages, and calls directly on their computers without using or unlocking their phone.
In addition to comprehensive integration with Windows systems, the OxygenOS 14 and ColorOS 14 updates bring other benefits to Realme, Oppo and OnePlus devices, such as improved performance, improved RAM, interface efficiency and improved confidentiality. These updates are based on the new Android 14 system.
