Microsoft fixed a long-standing bug in Windows 11 with the November patch KB5032190 that caused AMD GPUs to reset their settings every time they rebooted.
After installing the patch, the operating system does not reset custom GPU settings to the default values.
Users first reported this issue on September 26 after noticing that Windows 11 was automatically resetting custom settings for AMD GPUs every time it restarted.
Microsoft addressed compatibility issues with AMD systems with the November 2023 Windows 11 patches 23H2 and 22H2.
This means that Windows now remembers your AMD settings and you won't lose custom or performance-related settings every time you reboot.
Users will notice improvements when using Adrenalin version 23.10.2 or later on Windows 11 with November patch KB5032190 installed.
Microsoft is adding this fix to Windows 11 (23H2) via the Media Creation Tool.
Some users have pointed out that Windows Update does not solve all the issues and a few users are still facing frustrating issues resetting AMD settings, although Windows 11 Update is not responsible for this situation and in this case the issue may be related to someone else. a reason.
November patch KB5032190 introduces new issues, such as a bug that causes the system to freeze on reboot. In some cases, your system may not apply updates during installation and may fail again after a reboot.
