Huawei launches the first tablet computer that supports satellite communications

Huawei officially launched the new MatePad Pro 11 2024 edition tablet, making it the world's first tablet to support satellite communication technology.

The new tablet can use China's Beidou satellite communications system, allowing users to send messages and share their locations even in areas not covered by mobile networks.

The MatePad Pro 11's satellite communications system relies on satellites in high orbit at an altitude of 36,000 kilometers above the Earth's surface, without the need for additional antennas. It uses advanced technology, including complex algorithms and innovative communication protocols, to improve the communication experience without the need for additional antennas. Includes additional hardware.

The company was able to overcome technical complexities and significant issues related to power consumption and signal loss.

Huawei has previously launched a number of smartphones that use the same satellite communication technology, such as the Huawei P60, P60 Pro, Mate 50, Mate

It is worth noting that Huawei also recently partnered with China Telecom Group to launch the Mate 60 Pro mobile phone, which is the world's first smartphone capable of making satellite calls while supporting the Chinese Tiantong-1 communications system.

Although this feature is not used on a daily basis, it can be very important in emergency situations where all traditional communications are disrupted.

Huawei is expected to reveal more details about its new MatePad Pro 11 2024 tablet later this month.
