Huawei and Samsung are planning to launch low-cost foldable phones

According to a new report by market researcher Trend Force, Samsung and Huawei are planning to reduce the prices of foldable smartphones.

The report said that the two companies want to make phones available to a wide range of customers and enhance their presence in the market.

It is expected that foldable smartphones will be available at a reduced price from both companies next year 2024.

In addition, Samsung is developing a new foldable phone for the mid-range market, but specific details such as price or specifications are still unclear.

The price of the phone is expected to be around $500 or less, which puts it in the middle price range.

Offering these phones at affordable prices will increase their sales and make them more widely available than they currently are.

It should be noted that foldable smartphones currently fall into the premium or ultra-premium category.

It has previously been reported that Samsung is preparing to launch a new foldable phone under its famous brand (Fan Edition), which bears the name (FE).

Huawei and Samsung have not yet confirmed this information, but the South Korean company has previously hinted at it.

The current average starting price for a foldable smartphone is around $1,000, and it's worth noting that every major smartphone manufacturer except Apple offers foldable versions.
