I purchased this to have an additional external monitor for my laptop that I can use when working from home. I want a 24 inch one but don't want to spend a lot of money. It was delivered quickly, was very light and I used it straight away. The only problem I had was that I couldn't raise the screen to the right height. I used the included stand, so I went the old fashioned way and placed it on a sturdy, decorative box, but the included instructions didn't help at all.
It took me a while to figure out how to turn it on and adjust the screen settings. There is a small control button on the back that works on the right side when you are looking at the screen. Press and hold to turn the screen on and off, then use it as a mini joystick to adjust settings, volume, and more.
Nice built-in speakers. I don't play it, so I can't talk about it. All in all it was a good buy. I've had good luck with the ViewSonic brand in the past (my current 21-inch monitor is a ViewSonic) and got a good deal on Amazon's big sale day, which was great!
