I bought the UMIDIGI Tab G2 for $85 after a $10 coupon. It's a great option for an Android tablet on a budget. It's a bit heavy, but the leather back fits comfortably in the hand and doesn't require an additional pocket (although both cameras stick out a bit). Storage is 64GB, which is decent, and for an extra $8 I can add another 128GB via microSD card. There's no fingerprint or face unlock, so you can only use a pattern, password, or nothing at all.
The battery life is excellent, the camera is strong, and the speakers are excellent. There are more fingerprints on the screen than on iPads and Android phones, and the processor isn't very fast either. Additionally, the device will not charge using the Chromebook charger, which I use to charge my phone and Meta Quest VR.
For the price, this is a great value Android tablet. Sure, my iPad may be faster and more accurate, but it costs four times as much. I don't play serious games on Android, so the G2 tablet ticked all the boxes for me (except face unlock).
