Review SCEPTRE U325W-UPT 32-inch IPS 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 Monitor

SCEPTER 32" IPS 4K UHD Monitor 3840 x 2160 DisplayPort x2 HDMI x2 99% sRGB Built-in Speaker, Auto Black 2024 (U325W-UPT)

I've been using 4K monitors since 2016 when I switched to QNIX monitors.  This lasted so long that I had to replace it after four years.  But the only one in my price range is the 27-inch AOC monitor.  Wow, I really missed the size.  Then I got a decent discount of $200 and didn't regret it at all.  In terms of color and brightness it is better than the larger AOC screen.

My device has 3 stutters, but they are all in one corner, and the advantage of 4K is that the pixels are so small that even on a 60-inch screen, the stutters are not noticeable at all.  Also my device does not have IPS glow.

The second factor that made me buy was the shipping choice.  Most monitors have two (maybe three) ports, usually one DP and two HDMI ports.  HDMI performance is also reduced as only one port is 2.0 and the other is 1.4.  It doesn't matter if the port is 1.4 because I only use it to connect my PS4, but I usually need to connect my laptop to another computer via HDMI, so I always use an HDMI splitter and leave a bunch of cables behind the mouse and monitor.  This monitor now has two DP ports and two HDMI ports so I can connect my desktop, laptop, my PS4 and everything will convert to 4k60 (except my PS4, because of the simplicity of 4K. The idea is to make it like a single plane sound turbine), and even computers  It can receive 4K70 via DisplayPort.

This 70Hz thing... well, that's my problem with this monitor.  At 60Hz, that's too low to be really useful (75-80Hz might be better), and while some people may notice a difference, the fact that this monitor doesn't have an adaptive refresh rate (like Freesync) makes it difficult.  Practically useless.  The only good thing about this feature, and the reason it doesn't bother me, is that it's not heavily marketed.  Yes, it's in the Amazon description, but unlike most other El Cheapo monitors, the Specter doesn't exaggerate this feature.  Gosh, it's marketed more for productivity than gaming, so yeah, I can live with that
