Setting up this WiFi router is very easy. Simply install the Reyee app on your phone and it will connect to your new router so you can give it a name and password. It also comes with two Wi-Fi and a wired network – one for regular use and the other optimized for gaming.
The app itself has a speed test option, but it's just a test of the router's internet connection speed, and I've attached some screenshots from my phone for that. Interestingly, the test was linked to China Telecom, which is very strange. I wasn't sure if it was just a visual error or if it actually had something to do with it, so I ran some additional tests via the Ookla Speed Test app on my phone. I presented the results on my phone along with some screenshots of those results.

Overall, the new WLAN is on par with the existing WLAN (Orbi) and the wired connection is obviously very fast.
Finally, I ran the speed test in the Reyee app while I was about 200 meters away from the router and as you can see, the signal was weaker than expected and therefore the speed was slower. This is to be expected, but the range is pretty good and is still good enough outside of the house to connect to WiFi via my phone.
I found that it supports mesh networking, so you can add more units to spread the signal further, but on its own it's pretty good. I would recommend it to families that do not need the Internet. It has Wifi6 so that's a plus.
