This is probably the easiest networking product I've ever tried to set up. If you have an unlocked SIM card, simply insert it, connect it and wait until all negotiations are completed and you are ready to use the hotspot. I didn't even need to log into this router's administration page to get started — the basics were already set up and ready to use. This would be a great cellular hotspot for anyone who needs something that works without any hassle or network knowledge.
However, there are some drawbacks. Wired network speeds are limited to 100 Mbps, which is not fast enough for devices that will be sold in 2023. Since this router supports wired WAN passthrough, the connection should be at least 1 Gbps or up to 2.5 Gbps in Market today. This allows this router to act as a true backup/failover router in case your primary ISP fails. Second, the router's interface is very sparse and lacks many settings. If you need to configure firewall settings to bypass your ISP or configure an IPv6 network, this product is not for you. OpenWRT seems to be working behind the scenes, so maybe this could be improved.
This is a very useful device for people who need a bridge or router to connect their mobile network to their WiFi network. Getting started is easy, no instructions included required. If they fix the slow Ethernet speeds and questionable UI, this router would be perfect.
