Let me first say that I am a lifelong Apple user. The HP 2022 Stream 14" is the first Windows product I've tried in a long time. My main motivation for the change was to see the difference in user experience between Windows laptops and Apple devices.
One of the things that attracted me most about this laptop is its price. Unlike its Apple counterpart that costs thousands of dollars, this HP laptop is available at a cheaper price of $319.00. What excellent value for money!
However, I immediately noticed one drawback: the lack of backlighting on the keyboard. Since my eyesight is not very good, a backlight would be helpful. However, the laptop itself feels very light, and even lighter with the protective case I added.
As for battery life, I was able to provide 4 hours, especially for completing tasks like homework and Zoom meetings. As far as Windows is concerned, some tweaks are needed, but overall, the laptop works well. It's an interesting change and I like the balance of value that HP offers.
