I have to be honest with this review: I use ExpressVPN, so it works instantly and without any issues. of course it is.
As a note: This may not be very useful, but after trying to set up ExpressVPN using a Netgear router (which admittedly is not ExpressVPN's recommended device), using this router has been a breeze for me. (Don't go the Netgear route; there's no manufacturer support and the local "community" is virtually useless.
However, after dealing with ExpressVPN support a few times when purchasing with the original subscription, all I can say is that the chat support is perfect (not Google!) – I mean, real people. The support is almost as strict as I am, as it leaves no questions unanswered and has been extremely helpful with my account status (I had issues logging in - with uppercase and lowercase letters in the password; but don't quote me, I can login and I don't remember currently). Basically, they persevered like a dog chewing on a bone and we spent hours (I'm not kidding) thinking about my problem until they fixed it.
Back to that router: Since I had already installed ExpressVPN when it arrived and knew it was a dream, I was cautiously optimistic (at least it wasn't the "bad" Netgear). Don't worry, it worked right away and there have been no problems since.
I remember calling customer service again and they were more diligent and helpful than ever.
The only thing that may not be obvious is that this product is relatively new to the market and already shows the colors. It's a very good set, I didn't compare it to others before purchasing it, and it's also very cheap.
Since I live in Europe, an added bonus was that delivery was within a week. Thanks to Amazon USA, the speed of service is incredible.
Obviously, this box is a must-have if you want to hide behind a VPN.
