The backlit keyboard is the reason I chose this Chromebook, as is its competitive price. I've also had positive experiences with Acer products.
It's a beautiful laptop! But it only has one USB-C port; If you do not want to use a mouse, printer, etc. It's not wifi! (It's also on the left side. If you're using a wired mouse and you're right-handed, it's a pain!) I plug in a lot of USB drives, so I wanted an extra port; To overcome this limitation, I purchased a wireless mouse. (USBC ports seem to switch to lane 8 quickly.)
Battery life is not as great as expected; The actual brightness is not bright enough, at least in my opinion, so the brightness should be increased; This affects battery life. I took an 8-hour course and spent most of the day taking notes; I didn't bring a power cord because I thought I had enough power; You almost succeeded! This makes me wonder if I should leave the power cord at home next time; However, the reboot takes a few minutes! I also want to know if it consumes battery even when it is turned off? Sometimes I'm surprised that the power strip doesn't work at 100% after charging it and turning it off; This is an anecdotal observation.
It's comfortable to type on, but heavy and uncomfortable if you want to hold it in bed while watching videos. But the screen is nice to look at.
Use it for what it was designed for: as a laptop, it's great.
In short, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
