I mainly use it on long flights and airport stays. I usually watch movies and play games on my phone, but my boyfriend brought his tablet last time and it made a huge difference.
This Asus tablet performed better than expected, with a large 10.4-inch display, quick startups, quick response times, and 2K graphics that made my games and movies look great, bright, and clear. I have a high-end gaming PC at home and understand the limitations of non-gaming tablets, laptops, and PCs. Therefore, I did not expect to be able to run more demanding games, but as mentioned, less CPU-intensive games. Previously, it looked great on a 2K display.
For movies, the built-in speakers aren't bad, but since I'm in an airport or on a plane, I use earplugs, and they sure sound good, but if you want to use the built-in speakers, they're satisfactory. . Battery life is very good, I was able to watch several full length movies without having to charge the battery and it seemed to charge quickly. It has 128GB of internal storage, but I doubled that number once I added a microSD card. Now I have 256GB which is more than enough for my needs. With a retail price of $249 when I ordered it, it's a great tablet at this price.
Watching! The reason for the rating is 4 instead of 5 stars. I cannot update the OS from Android 12 to 13, so the OS is a year old or older. I'm hoping Asus can come up with a solution so I can update the OS, but Android 12 is running great on it so far, so I'm hoping everything works out fine anyway.
