The Chinese company Oppo launched its new smartphone, Oppo A79, with support for the 5G network, and it is one of the company's most affordable phones.
The new Oppo phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz and a brightness of up to 680 nits.
The oppo A79 5G mobile phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, manufactured using a 7nm process with a frequency of up to 2.2GHz, and is equipped with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on the Android 13 operating system and ColorOS 13.1 interface.
The phone has two rear cameras: one with 50 megapixels, f/1.8 aperture and Samsung JN1 sensor, and the other with 2 megapixels for selfies. The front camera comes with an 8-megapixel resolution and an f/2.0 lens aperture.
The oppo A79 5G is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and comes with a 33W fast charger that can charge the battery to 50% in 30 minutes. It also has dual stereo speakers, IP54 water resistance, water and dust resistance, and a fingerprint sensor. The phone's side sensor is also integrated into the on-screen power button.
Oppo launched the phone in a green and black version at a price equivalent to $250. The company has already launched the phone in the Indian market, and is expected to launch it in more markets in the coming period.
