Oppo has announced the global availability of its Find N3 foldable phone, the first horizontally foldable phone sold outside China.
From the outside, we find a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2484 x 1116 pixels and a dynamic refresh rate ranging between 10 and 120 Hz. The external screen has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a brightness of up to 2800 nits per square meter.
When you open the Find N3 you see a 7.82-inch screen with a resolution of 2440 x 2268 pixels, a variable dynamic refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz and the same maximum brightness.
The Find N3 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB internal storage.
Oppo has supplied this phone with a 4805 mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. Oppo claims that it can be fully charged to 100% in just 42 minutes.
There are two selfie cameras, the first is an internal 20-megapixel camera and the second is an external 32-megapixel camera.
The phone has three rear cameras, including a 48-megapixel primary lens with a new Sony LYTIA-T808 sensor, a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens with autofocus, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with hybrid zoom support. Maximum 6x or 145mm.
The Find N3 phone offers three windows on the screen in a vertical and horizontal display, a feature that Oppo calls a 15-inch virtual screen.
Some apps support in-app split-screen viewing, so you can edit two documents together in Microsoft 365 or view two photos together in a gallery.
Oppo claims that 95% of apps support widescreen and you can freely resize the active window in a multi-window setup.
The phone is available in four colors: black and red with a vegan leather back, and green and gold with a frosted glass back. The Find N3 costs 1,650 euros.
