OnePlus announced the launch of its first foldable phone, the OnePlus Open, at a price of 1,799 euros. First orders are possible until October 26th. Anyone who has already ordered the phone will receive the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro for free.
The general sale begins on October 27 and runs until November 30, and OnePlus Open users will also get a 10% discount on the OnePlus Pad and a 30% discount on the Buds Pro 2, Nord Buds 2 and Buds 2R.

The black device weighs 239 grams while the green device weighs 245 grams, both of which are lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold5, which weighs 253 grams.
OnePlus has teamed up with Hasselblad to equip the phone with five cameras, including a 48-megapixel primary lens on the back with Sony's new LYTIA-T808 sensor, a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens. The OnePlus Canvas smartphone customization app greets you as soon as you turn on the screen, and OnePlus says it has completely redesigned it to enable multitasking.
The company adds that 95% of apps support widescreen and you can resize the active window as needed in a multi-window setup, in addition to using three windows on the screen in portrait and landscape view.
