Meta offers generative AI tools for advertisers

Meta has announced the launch of a suite of generative AI tools for advertisers through its Ads Manager ad management platform, adding that the global rollout will be completed next year.

The company claims on its official website that these tools will “pave the way for a new era of creativity aimed at maximizing productivity, personalization and efficiency for all advertisers.”

One of the new Meta features is the background creation feature, which can create multiple backgrounds for a product, helping users have a different set of images to attract a wider audience.

As for the image expansion function, it allows the use of generative artificial intelligence to change and supplement the image dimensions as needed to adapt different image formats on different channels to reach the audience, allowing advertisers to save time on multimedia advertising duplication.

Meta also offers another feature called “Text Variations,” which allows creating multiple different versions of the text message an advertiser wants to publish, focusing on key selling points to better engage audiences.

Meta said companies will soon be able to leverage AI in business messaging on WhatsApp and Messenger to connect with customers, drive business, engagement and support, and provide instant responses to customer queries.

Meta said it is testing the features with a small number of advertisers in beta and plans to expand their reach next year.
