Apple launches MacBook Pro computers with new M3 processors

Apple launched new versions of its MacBook Pro laptops with 14- and 16-inch screens, equipped with the latest processors: M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max.

The new MacBook Pro computers have the same basic features that were present in previous versions with M2 processors, but they exceed them in performance thanks to the new M3 processor.

The MacBook Pro version has 14.2-inch and 16.2-inch displays with a resolution of 3024 x 1964 pixels and 3456 x 2234 pixels, respectively. It supports P3 wide color gamut, True Tone technology, which adjusts colors based on ambient light, and ProMotion. The feature changes the screen depending on the content being displayed. The refresh rate reaches a maximum brightness of 1600 nits.

These devices feature new M3 processors based on 3nm manufacturing technology (such as the Apple A17 Pro processor found in the iPhone 15 Pro) with different percentages of performance improvements for the main processor and graphics processing unit.

Apple offers its new processors in 3 different versions: M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max, with different computing capabilities to meet all customers’ needs using professional programs.

The hardware includes 6 external speakers that support Dolby Atmos and a battery that can last up to 22 hours.

The price of the 14-inch version of the MacBook Pro with an M3 processor starts at $1,600, while the price of the 16-inch version starts at $2,500.
