WhatsApp is testing the ability to create stickers using artificial intelligence on iPhone

WhatsApp has released a new beta version of its iPhone app, testing a new feature that allows users to create stickers based on artificial intelligence.

Users of the beta version of the WhatsApp app on iPhone will notice the “Create” option when navigating to the stickers section.

When this option is clicked, a window will appear where the user can enter a text description of the desired sticker. Then, using artificial intelligence technology, the app creates several stickers from which the app can select the conversation and share it with others.

The accuracy of the results depends on the description provided by the user, which may produce acceptable results even if the function is still experimental.

This feature eliminates the need for users to use advanced design software and external tools to obtain labels.

The new feature is only available to a limited number of trial users. More are expected to become available in the coming weeks.

Notably, WhatsApp has been testing this feature on the Android version of the app for a few weeks and hints that it will soon be rolled out to all users.

Meta promises to provide the ability to ask questions and concerns to the AI bot for free, as well as create images for free on its various services such as WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.

Meta has one of the most advanced generative AI models available today, the Llama2 model, which competes with similar models from Google and Microsoft working with OpenAI.
