Social media platform Telegram has released a new update that includes several new features, including the “Stories” feature in channels.
The Stories feature works in Telegram channels through a new system called “Boosts System.” Telegram users who subscribe to the “Premium” system can give “boosts” to their favorite channels so that they can publish stories. Each premium account benefits from the boost that can be given to each channel.
The platform stated on its official blog that every time the channel receives additional reinforcements, its level increases. Each time the channel reaches a certain level, it can publish more stories throughout the day.
Anyone with a premium subscription to Telegram can move their boosts from one channel to another after 24 hours. Channel owners can also request a boost from subscribers via a special link available on the channel information page.
