The outdoor WiFi repeater is ideal for long distances or large outdoor areas. Since my current WiFi network can't reach the back of the house, I initially considered using this repeater because I invested in a repeater that would allow me to receive video calls and work from the edge of the house.
However, one of the downsides of getting one is that it is not a simple plug-and-play device. I've used other Wavlink products before, but this one seemed to confuse me a bit. I hired a technician to install it so there would be no mistakes, much to my dismay. He was able to set it up perfectly without any issues. This made the task of figuring out how to install it less difficult for me.
The signal is incredible. It definitely extends to the back of the hotel and I think it's even further, but I haven't tested it yet! One small downside is that most cell phone providers will warn you that WAP connections are not as secure as theirs, which may be true, but I don't think that was a barrier to getting what I needed.
The upload and download speeds are impeccable. I've never had a faster connection before, and since I work in the gaming industry, the need for the fastest possible connection is crucial to my work. This device is absolutely amazing, even though I only got a star (if I could only get half a star I would). But if you need something to cover a large area both outside and inside, look no further! This is your unit!
